We use VOC Free products to ensure you and your clients will be healthy over time, since our doors don’t off let harmful VOC’s. Products can be aged to a realistic weathered finish, using state of the art processes that can be ordered with top-coated nanotechnology for added durability. The finished look is both a gorgeous and sustainable weathered-looking material. We can also paint or stain wood with your specified colors.

Beams come in a large variety of textures, species, and colors. Beam pricing varies based on width and length. To give you a ballpark, a red cedar, wire-brushed, stained and sealed 8x8" - 17' long runs $5000, while the same beam at 6x8" -10' runs $2800.

Our wood beams look authentically aged because of our unique weathering process. But they look like wood beams because we use A LOCKING MITER JOINT to securely hold our wood pieces. This is a lengthier and more laborious process, but it shows in the results. See if you can spot the difference below.

You can see the routered BACKS of the red cedar beam pieces, below (left.) These pieces slide into place to perfectly, to create a seamless look. The faces are shown on the right. At Dingewood, we believe if it's worth doing, then it's worth doing right!

DINGEWOOD COLORS [link] replicate those of nature, but our textures add the finishing touch. Select textures are available for superior weathered look and feel. Choose from 3 textures:
- Planed texture is produced by a planer and is the smoothest of the all the textures.
- Band sawn texture is produced by bandsaw mills and is also a rough-sawn texture, just less rough that circle sawn, with less dimensional variation.
- Rough sand texture creates a light wire-brushed look that enhances the wood's natural grain and creates a realistic weathered wood look.
